birthday blues

My birthday is tomorrow. Today I feel listless and tired. I'm spending the evening celebrating with some friends tonight in the city, but a part of me feels like having a bath and going to bed.

Birthdays aren't what they used to be. Cake and party hats have been replaced with bars and drinks. Less people come to each other's birthday parties now too. Sally said I've just got the birthday blues, "You'll be fine by tonight" she said.
